Did you know that Sue makes a wide variety of tasty sauces and tangy marinades to complement your winter roasts, grilled meats and summer barbecues?

The sauces and marinades are available to buy from a limited range of suppliers:

The range of sauces includes:

  • Sweet mustard sauce: the perfect accompaniment to sausages, hot and cold ham and barbecued foods. Available throughout the year.

  • Horseradish sauce: made with freshly grated horseradish root, great with beef, but eats well with smoked fish too. Available throughout the year.

  • Apple and Calvados sauce: a mature apple sauce to serve with pork dishes. Available from September to April. Can be frozen.

  • Redcurrant, mint and orange jelly: a tasty combination of flavours to serve with lamb dishes. Available from September to April.

  • Cranberry, port and orange sauce: a full flavoured sauce to serve with turkey and other festive dishes. Available in December (or by special request at other times of the year). Can be frozen.

From May through to September, Sue prepares a wide selection of marinades to add extra flavour to meat, poultry, fish and shellfish dishes. Although the marinades are created with summer barbecues in mind, they can equally well be used to spice up mid week grills and roasts.

During the summer, Sue makes two fresh marinades a week from the following selection:

 

  • Ginger, garlic and coriander marinade

  • Tandoori marinade

  • Honey and sherry marinade

  • Charmoula marinade

  • Spicy jerk paste

  • Juniper, rosemary and garlic marinade

  • Chinese 5-spice and orange marinade

  • Lemon and sweet chilli marinade

  • Yoghurt, ginger and mint marinade

  • Spicy hoisin glaze

The sauces and marinades are made from fresh ingredients and, as with all Sue's food, contain no additives or preservatives. Consequently they have a limited shelf life and must be stored in the fridge; full details are printed on the packaging. All sauces and marinades are sold in 250ml leak-proof plastic pots.
